Madora Bay is an idyllic coastal suburb of northern Mandurah. Residents affirm its relaxed and friendly ambience, striking the balance of being close to central Mandurah, while still retaining its small town feel. First named in 1960 as Madora Beach Estate, the suburb was gazetted in 1990 as Madora but was later amended to its current name in 2003. Madora Bay is regarded by many as one of the most liveable suburbs of Mandurah - primarily because of its beachside location and ease of access to schools, shopping, beaches, and Perth.
